Structural Integration

The basis of the practice is the belief that misalignment of myofascial tissues, a result of improper posture and emotional and physical traumas, may have a detrimental effect on a person’s energy level, self-image, muscular efficiency, perceptions, and general health.
Myofascial Release
A manipulative treatment that attempts to release tension in the fascia due to trauma, posture, or inflammation. Connective tissues called fascia surround the muscles, bones, nerves, and organs of the body.
Swedish
A light to medium pressure massage designed to improve circulation, decrease muscle toxins, all while easing the stress of everyday life.
Deep Tissue
A medium to firm pressure massage designed to relieve severe tension in the deeper layers of the muscles and connective tissue.
Sports
Sports massage therapy can be used as a means to enhance pre-event preparation and reduce recovery time for maximum performance during training or after an event.

Focusing on areas of the body that are overused and stressed from repetitive and often aggressive movements.
Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger point massage therapy is specifically designed to alleviate the source of the pain through cycles of isolated pressure and release.
A trigger point is a tight area within muscle tissue that causes pain in other parts of the body. A trigger point in the back, for example, may reduce referral pain in the neck. The neck, now acting as a satellite trigger point, may then cause pain in the head.
Prenatal Massage
A gentle treatment for expecting mothers experiencing low back discomfort, swollen lower extremities and the rigors of pregnancy. The mommy-to-be will be in a side-lying position throughout the service. Ideal for those in 2nd and 3rd trimester. Consult your OBGYN for approval.

Oscar Ribadeneira is a Certified Massage Therapist and Bodywork Specialist. A graduate of CSU, Fullerton, he earned a Health Science B.S. Degree prior to attaining a Massage Therapy diploma from Fremont College in Cerritos, CA.
He believes that of the 7 interconnected dimensions of wellness, Physical wellness is the crux. Therefore, enhancing it promotes improvement of the remaining, and subsequently homeostasis is achieved.
Throughout most of his life, Oscar has participated in a variety of sports and activities of varying levels. So, he has empathy regarding the “ups and downs” one may experience in active lifestyle. With a versatile massage technique, his target is assisting those in returning to their regimen.
Born and raised in Southern California, Oscar spends his free time with his wife Elizabeth, If he’s not skateboarding with the pulling-aide of his dogs Fred and Lily, he might be seen biking along the local trails.
Elizabeth Ribadeneira is a Certified Massage Therapist of over ten years. After attaining her massage therapy diploma at Everest College, she still continues to study massage and has become certified in prenatal massage.
Since learning massage, she progressively lives a more active lifestyle. So, she understands the effort and challenges it takes to obtain a balanced lifestyle of wellness. She believes massage could be an aid to those who continue to pursue an active lifestyle.
A long-time resident of California, Elizabeth spends her free time with her husband Oscar and their two dogs, Fred and Lily. If she’s not creating a mess in the kitchen with her delicious cooking, she and Oscar might be seen biking along the trails of RSM.
